Wheels, Water and Wuf'nTubble
Hi there! I'm 21 months, still sleep twice a day and have hit the three word phase! My sister's nearly 3.5 years old now and is such a cool play mate. I'm into tractors big time - in fact anything with wheels really! I can now just about name all the vehicles when we go into town. 'Conkeet Tuk' (concrete truck) is the latest name I've volunteered.
I've got all the animals sorted now (horses are my favourite - but everything at a distance please...or I get really spooked!); climbing into my highchair's sussed too and I've even nailed how to open a baby-proof bottle. Biggest achievement? I've earned the most points with Mum by being able to count to 3 and having no hesitation to helping out with pack-up-time! My Dad's smitten with the moments I'm saying 'Soh-wee' (sorry)...and I've been known to say soh-wee to the chair and door if I bump into them.
I've had the chicken pox, but aside from a double ear infection, nothing much else has caused any grief. I've just learnt that 'using my words' will see loads of things go my way, but have yet to figure out that worms don't like being stretched so much they split into two! I love wuf'tubble (rough & tumble') with my Dad and when Bronnie gets to babysit, I'm in water-play heaven! Heck I wish Mum and Dad would go out more often!
Dinner time's probably the time I get into the most trouble - I can't figure out why the food has to stay on the plate if I'm not eating it! Favourite foods: grapes, crackers, pears, bacon, noodles, raisins, peas - especially if frozen, and yoghurt covered raisins !
The greatest things happening in our family life these days, is that our new house is being built right now. It started last week, Nov 10th 2009 and Dad got the honor of hitting the first peg in (he even gets to help build the whole place!). I've scored a war wound along the way though... I tried to lean over the boxing for the concrete floor and slipped into the ditch that the digger built! But nothing's broken - just another bruise. Tame, considering the injury saved as I worked out how to climb out of my cot tonight! Mum caught me in time...but ah-ha, my cot days are now over!

All up, life's very cool!
Not bad for nearly a year's worth of catchup!
Bye for now! Love Jak0b
